The situation

Founders and investors were meeting whoever they happened to know, with no shared, trustworthy place for the two to find each other. Before building anything, the question worth answering was whether a matching platform would help at all — and how you would find out, rather than assume it.

What I built

We built the platform in order to answer it: Laravel and React over PostgreSQL, matching people on the preferences they stated rather than on introductions, and letting founders upload a video pitch for investors to review. It ran on an Agile cycle, and ten people tested it through online surveys, five founders and five investors, with what they said driving each round of changes.

Capstone project, AY 2025–2026. Lead platform developer and co-author with Anthon Jay M. Delgado and Jmark Zeus P. Alday, using mixed methods and an Agile SDLC.

    Not the software — the problem. What is slow, what gets forgotten, what people keep having to redo by hand. Usually one call is enough to see the shape of it.

    In plain language, before any building starts, so you can correct me while it is still cheap to correct. You approve it or you don't.

    You see it early and often

    Working pieces, not screenshots or promises. If something is wrong, you say so while there is still time to change it.

    It goes live and stays supported

    Hosting, domain and setup handled. The Valley O'Ville site has been running since 2023 — I don't disappear after launch.
