AUXILIARE

A platform where Filipino founders pitch by video and investors find them — matched by what each side is actually looking for.

Built for
Filipino startup founders raising money, and investors looking for ventures
My role
Research & Development (R&D) Lead
When
June 2024 – June 2026

The situation

Founders with a good business could not find investors, and investors could not find credible founders. Both sides were relying on who they happened to know. There was no shared, trustworthy place for the two to meet.

What we built

Founders record a short video pitch and set out what they are looking for. Investors browse, filter and watch. When both sides are a fit, they connect and message inside the platform. Identities are verified and content is reviewed, so investors are not sifting through noise. The three of us built it over two years, taking it from idea through to a working, tested platform.

The build that is public now is a front-end demo tour: the real screens and the flow through them, with no live database, accounts, or matching behind it.

Built June 2024 to June 2026 by the three of us below. Tested with five founders and five investors before the ratings above were recorded.

What it lets people do

  1. 01Founders publish a video pitch instead of a cold email
  2. 02Investors browse ventures filtered by their own criteria
  3. 03Both sides message directly once they connect
  4. 04Identities are verified and posted content is moderated

Who built it

Built by three people.

Research paper

A four-page public-facing abridgment of our University of Batangas capstone: system design, preliminary usability results, and the limits of what we tested.

Prepared from the team’s 2026 capstone with AI-assisted editorial condensation. Not peer reviewed or an IEEE publication. Ratings reflect five founders and five investors; they do not establish matching accuracy or investment outcomes.

Under the hood

The tools this is built with. You do not need to know any of them to use it — open one if you are curious what it does.

How a project goes
  1. We talk about the problem

Not the software — the problem. What is slow, what gets forgotten, what people keep having to redo by hand. Usually one call is enough to see the shape of it.

  2. I write down what I heard

In plain language, before any building starts, so you can correct me while it is still cheap to correct. You approve it or you don't.

  3. You see it early and often

Working pieces, not screenshots or promises. If something is wrong, you say so while there is still time to change it.

  4. It goes live and stays supported

Hosting, domain and setup handled. The Valley O'Ville site has been running since 2023 — I don't disappear after launch.
